# An integration disconnected or won't sync

> Option A — "Reconnect Google to grant Calendar access."

## Symptoms

* You're prompted to [**Reconnect Google to grant Calendar access**](/help/integrations/google-calendar-read-create-rsvp).
* Files or meeting transcripts stopped syncing from a connected service.
* Clicking **Connect** on an integration sends you to **Book a Call** instead of connecting.
* Google Workspace setup shows a permission or plan error.

## Likely causes

* An access token expired or a required permission (scope) wasn't granted.
* Integrations are a paid feature, so connecting routes you to book a call.
* Only an organization owner can configure the [Google Workspace integration](/help/integrations/google-workspace-org-wide-setup-admin-guide).
* Your plan doesn't include the integration yet.

## Solution

**Option A — "Reconnect Google to grant Calendar access."**

1. Open the integration prompt or the [**Integrations** page](/help/integrations/integrations-overview).
2. Click **Reconnect** and complete the Google consent screen, making sure to allow the access being requested (for example, Calendar). Syncing resumes once the permission is granted.

**Option B — Connecting a new integration (Google Drive, Notion, Zoom).**

1. Open **Integrations** and click **Connect [Google Drive](/help/integrations/google-drive)**, **Connect [Notion](/help/integrations/notion)**, or **Connect [Zoom](/help/integrations/zoom)**.
2. Because integrations are available to paying users, this opens a **Book a Call** step. Book the call to get your integration set up.
3. For more options, click **Connect others** or **Request More Integrations**.

**Option C — Google Workspace org integration errors.**

1. If you see "Only an organization owner can configure the Google Workspace integration," ask your administrator to set it up.
2. If you see an upgrade prompt — "Your plan doesn't include the Google Workspace integration" — [upgrade](/help/plans-credits-billing/plans-overview-explore-pro-power-user-enterprise) to configure it.
3. When pasting a service account key, paste the full contents of the JSON key file, or you'll get "That doesn't look like a valid JSON key."

<Note>
  ℹ️ **Good to know:** The Google Workspace integration is [configured once for the whole organization](/help/organization-administration/org-wide-integrations-google-workspace-domain-delegation) and lets the platform access Gmail, Calendar, and Drive on behalf of your users. Each project can have one Google Workspace integration.
</Note>

## Still stuck?

If you've reconnected and granted access but syncing still doesn't resume, email **[support@chief.bot](mailto:support@chief.bot)** with the integration name and what you were expecting to sync.

## FAQ

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="I reconnected Google but my calendar still won't load.">
    Make sure you actually granted the requested access on the Google consent screen — declining or skipping a scope leaves the integration partially connected. Reconnect and approve all requested permissions, then retry.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does connecting an integration ask me to book a call?">
    Integrations are available to paying users, so the connect flow routes you to book a call to get set up. Once that's done, the integration syncs automatically.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The Google Workspace setup says I don't have permission.">
    Only an organization owner can configure it. Ask your administrator to set up the Google Workspace integration for your organization.
