What the Zoom connection does

Connecting Zoom lets Chief automatically sync your meeting transcripts and chat logs from Zoom, so that material comes into Chief without manual uploads.

Connect Zoom

Chief - the Connect button on the Zoom integration card
  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations.
  2. Find the Zoom card — “Automatically sync meeting transcripts and chat logs from Zoom.”
  3. Click Connect next to Zoom.
⚠️ Important: Integrations are available to paying users. If you’re signed out, you’ll be asked to sign up first; if you’re signed in, clicking Connect opens a “Book a Call” prompt to set the integration up with the Chief team rather than a one-click self-serve connection.

Zoom sync vs. a Live Session

These are two different paths to the same goal:
  • A Live Session captures a meeting live through the Chief desktop app on your Mac.
  • The Zoom integration pulls transcripts and chat logs that Zoom itself produced.
