Turn a meeting into action

Every Live Session can become a task. When you start a task from a session, the meeting goes into the task’s scope, so Chief can help you act on its transcript and the decisions, context, and follow-ups it pulled out — instead of you pasting notes into a new prompt.

Start a task from Live Notes

  1. Open Live Sessions and open the session.
  2. Open Live notes and select a point.
  3. Use Ask about this… or the point’s quick action. You can also click Start a task with this Live Session in the header of a finished session.
Chief opens a new task already grounded in the meeting and primed to help you make progress on that action — laying out next steps, relevant facts, and anything you should know.

Find tasks you’ve started

Once you start a task, its chat or run appears under Activity › Work, in Chats and runs. Click any item there to reopen it.
Good to know: The meeting stays attached to the task as context, so you can keep asking questions and Chief keeps answering from the transcript — not just the first action.

The session is attached to the task’s scope. If answers seem ungrounded, confirm the session has a transcript and reopen the task from Activity › Work › Chats and runs rather than starting an unrelated task.
Yes. Click Start a task with this Live Session, or select any passage in the transcript and choose Task from the selection menu.
In your normal tasks, and it is linked back under the session’s Activity › Work › Chats and runs list.
