Turn a meeting into action

Every Live Session can become a task. When you start a task from a session, the meeting goes into the task’s scope, so Chief answers from that meeting’s transcript and the items it pulled out — instead of you pasting notes in.

Start a task from a suggested action

  1. Open Live Sessions and open the session.
  2. In the suggestions panel, find an item under Task suggestions.
  3. Click Start task on that item.
Chief opens a new task already grounded in the meeting and primed to help you make progress on that action — laying out next steps, relevant facts, and anything you should know.

Find tasks you’ve started

Once you start a task from a suggestion, it moves into the session’s Tasks list in the suggestions panel. Click any item there to reopen that task.
Good to know: The meeting stays attached to the task as context, so you can keep asking questions and Chief keeps answering from the transcript — not just the first action.
