What Advanced Mode is for
Advanced Mode unlocks Chief’s power-user controls. Regular Mode keeps the interface clean and focused on asking questions and reading answers. Advanced Mode surfaces extra controls for people who want to steer the model, work on the wording of a prompt, and do more with each answer. You can switch between them at any time, and your choice is remembered. What Advanced Mode unlocks
- Model and intelligence controls in the prompt bar — pick which model handles a prompt and tune the intelligence level, instead of letting Chief choose for you.
- Richer scope controls — mention and target Collections and Concepts when you set the scope of a chat.
- Share and copy a draft prompt — when you have text in the prompt bar, Advanced shows buttons to copy a link to the draft prompt or share it, so you can reuse and pass prompts around.
- More text-selection actions — selecting text in an answer reveals extra options (such as Deeper and web Search) that are hidden in Regular Mode.
- Advanced prompt-driven creation — shortcuts to create a Skill or an Expert Voice just by prompting in chat.
ℹ️ Good to Know: Nothing is lost in Regular Mode — Chief still picks a capable model and gives full answers. Advanced Mode simply puts more of those controls in your hands.

Will Advanced Mode change my answers or cost more?
Will Advanced Mode change my answers or cost more?
It gives you more control over how a prompt is run, including model choice. It does not by itself change your plan; usage still follows your plan’s terms.
