Chief runs on a single, simple idea: you only pay for the intelligence you use, measured in credits. Your plan decides how many credits you get each month, what bonus you earn when you buy more, and which advanced capabilities you can reach. Pick the plan that matches how often you lean on Chief — you can change it anytime.

The four plans

Chief offers four plans. Start on Explore for free, then move up as your work grows.
  • Explore — Free, $0/month. The best place to start. You get a one-time grant of free credits when you register, plus a small daily refill, and you can buy extra credits whenever you need them (pay as you go).
  • Pro — A monthly or yearly subscription. Includes a large monthly credit allowance, unlocks Deep Intelligence access, early access to the newest LLMs, unlimited integrations, priority support, and a bonus on every credit refill.
  • Power User — Everything in Pro, plus the largest credit allowance, early access to beta features, dedicated support, and the highest refill bonus.
  • Enterprise — Custom pricing for teams. Adds embedding Chief in your own apps, per-team budgets and access controls, custom retention policies, cross-team usage reporting, bring-your-own LLM API keys or on-prem models, invoice payment, and enterprise SLAs.

How to choose

  1. Just trying Chief? Stay on Explore. Your free credits and daily refill are enough to explore the core experience.
  2. Using Chief regularly and want Deep Intelligence? Move to Pro. The monthly allowance and refill bonus pay off quickly once Chief is part of your routine.
  3. Running Chief hard, every day? Power User gives you the largest allowance and the biggest refill bonus.
  4. Buying for a team or need custom controls? Talk to sales about Enterprise.

Where to see and change your plan

  1. Open Settings, then the Billing section. Your current plan name and credit usage appear at the top.
  2. To compare plans or change tiers, select Upgrade (on Explore) or Manage plan (on a paid plan). This opens the pricing page or the secure billing portal.

FAQ

No. Chief has four plans: Explore, Pro, Power User, and Enterprise. For team budgets, shared access controls, and cross-team reporting, the Enterprise plan is the right fit — contact sales to set it up.
Power User includes everything in Pro, plus a larger monthly credit allowance, a higher refill bonus, early access to beta features, and dedicated support. Choose Power User if you run Chief heavily every day.
If you’re a member of a project that someone else pays for, you may not see subscription controls for that project. Billing management is only shown to the person or organization that owns the plan. Check your own Settings → Billing for your personal plan, and see Personal vs. organization billing for how project funding works.
