Symptoms
- You’re prompted to Reconnect Google to grant Calendar access.
- Files or meeting transcripts stopped syncing from a connected service.
- Clicking Connect on an integration sends you to Book a Call instead of connecting.
- Google Workspace setup shows a permission or plan error.
Likely causes
- An access token expired or a required permission (scope) wasn’t granted.
- Integrations are a paid feature, so connecting routes you to book a call.
- Only an organization owner can configure the Google Workspace integration.
- Your plan doesn’t include the integration yet.
Solution
Option A — “Reconnect Google to grant Calendar access.”- Open the integration prompt or the Integrations page.
- Click Reconnect and complete the Google consent screen, making sure to allow the access being requested (for example, Calendar). Syncing resumes once the permission is granted.
- Open Integrations and click Connect Google Drive, Connect Notion, or Connect Zoom.
- Because integrations are available to paying users, this opens a Book a Call step. Book the call to get your integration set up.
- For more options, click Connect others or Request More Integrations.
- If you see “Only an organization owner can configure the Google Workspace integration,” ask your administrator to set it up.
- If you see an upgrade prompt — “Your plan doesn’t include the Google Workspace integration” — upgrade to configure it.
- When pasting a service account key, paste the full contents of the JSON key file, or you’ll get “That doesn’t look like a valid JSON key.”
ℹ️ Good to know: The Google Workspace integration is configured once for the whole organization and lets the platform access Gmail, Calendar, and Drive on behalf of your users. Each project can have one Google Workspace integration.
Still stuck?
If you’ve reconnected and granted access but syncing still doesn’t resume, email support@chief.bot with the integration name and what you were expecting to sync.FAQ

Make sure you actually granted the requested access on the Google consent screen — declining or skipping a scope leaves the integration partially connected. Reconnect and approve all requested permissions, then retry.
Why does connecting an integration ask me to book a call?
Why does connecting an integration ask me to book a call?
Integrations are available to paying users, so the connect flow routes you to book a call to get set up. Once that’s done, the integration syncs automatically.
