Zoom no longer connects directly to Chief

Chief no longer offers a Zoom integration or automatically syncs Zoom transcripts and chat logs. Use the Chief Live Sessions App while a Zoom call is running, or upload an existing transcript afterward. Capture or import the meeting

  • Capture it live: start a Live Session before or during the Zoom call. Chief records the microphone and system audio that reaches your computer; no Zoom connection is required.
  • Import it later: download the transcript from Zoom, then upload it in the Live Sessions App. Chief processes the transcript text but cannot recover Zoom chat messages or other context absent from the file.
